To hoe close to the plant, the hoe must follow the crop row exactly. A simple probe steers the hoe to the left and right. The speed of movement is electrically adjustable.
The probe is custom manufactured and provides guidance for at least 2 plants on each side.
Any desired hoe can be mounted to the beam. When the sideshift is lifted out it will automatically move to the center position.
